As a real woman in my 50s, with my real body, flaws and all, I became increasingly frustrated. Everywhere I looked, I saw filtered perfection, heavily edited images, and AI-generated beauty standards that left real women feeling like they weren't measuring up. I was tired of comparing myself to an ideal that often wasn't even real.
So I decided to show up differently.
